Have you ever looked out into the woods and seen a soft glow of light emanating from the tops of the trees? A light that connects all of the trees and gently pulses with the heartbeat of the Earth?
Or walked through a late fall Michigan meadow, stopped in the middle, and the sun came out from behind the grey, cloudy sky, to shine directly on you? The breeze warmed, the birds quietly moved in closer to you. Nature leaned in to embrace you, and you knew that all would be well.
This connection to Nature, and the loving embrace of our physical world, is one of my most treasured bonds. I believe it’s mutual. When we take time to experience and appreciate the beauty of the natural world around us, it will lean in and offer support back to us.
