Affirmations, or intentions, commands, etc. can be used to focus your thought and energy.  It doesn’t matter what you call the process.  The important part is to catch any thoughts you don’t want, and replace them with what you do want, along with stating each day what you want to create.

We have 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day. Our main thoughts set our frequency/energy field which attracts similar frequency/energy to us.

Affirmations are an easy way to pivot out of a negative thought and replace it with a positive thought.

You want to use affirmations that your subconscious mind will believe. One way to make any affirmation believable to your subconscious mind is to use “I’m in the process of…..” in front of the affirmation. This gets your subconscious mind to accept it – even if it’s a bit of a stretch.

Think of a ship – your conscious mind – is the captain of your ship – directing where the ship is heading with her thoughts and directions.

The subconscious mind is like the crew in the boiler room. They can’t see where the ship is heading – they take and trust the captain’s orders, and keep the ship fueled. They don’t discern if an order is good or bad. They accept it and act on it.

It’s the captain’s – your conscious mind – that discerns where they want to go. Your thoughts create what the subconscious hears and works on to create in your life, which is why it’s important to direct where your thoughts are going, and what you focus on.

A few affirmations:
I hold a calm energy.
I am connected with my heart while doing business.
My business is Divinely guided.
My business is infused with love.
I choose to think positive thoughts.
My thoughts are a blessing.
I choose to be well.
My cells are programmed for wellness.

It’s also helpful to say an affirmation right before or as you fall asleep (this directs your subconscious with something to focus on while you sleep). It can be as simple as “Thank You”.
